This project involved a comprehensive renovation that encompassed the removal of walls, replacement of flooring, and complete transformation of the kitchen and bathrooms. The main objective of the clients was to optimize each space in order to create a home that could potentially be rented out as a vacation rental or an Airbnb. The location of the property within walking distance to the University of Oregon and the renowned Hayward Field added to its appeal.
For the furnishing and decoration aspect, the clients desired a casual and cozy atmosphere that still retained a touch of style. Drawing inspiration from modern farmhouse aesthetics, as the designated designer, my goal was to design a cohesive look that complemented the existing home while introducing elements from other styles through the furniture and accessories. Additionally, this project involved not only the renovation but also a full-service approach also known as "turn-key", where I took care of stocking the cabinets and drawers with all the essential items required for a functioning home.
